Finally got into some ducks during the annual South Dakota hunt. We saw tons of ducks (a lot of those being mallards), but the ducks are in large flocks and are very weary of decoys and calling. We ended up with 2 ducks this morning, a hen and a drake mallard. Also saw a good number of Canadian and snow geese. Yes, that is snow on the ground! We experienced the first snow of the season on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
